Scott and Teresa Splan moved to Onaway in June 2001 and started
Lock Stock & Barrel Ranch. Horse Boarding, Maple Syrup production and raising sheep were all we did the first year. In 2002 we added the certified kitchen and produced jams and breads, the following year Teresa acquired a low acidity certification with the USDA and MDA licensed her to produce pickles, salsa's and relishes.

Today the ranch offers horse boarding, a variety of all natural meats, and a one stop homestead supply store. The ranch offers farm tours to see the assortment of animals.
